Sunday 17th November was a treasured day for Norm Cook, Head Coach of the Kapiti Judo Club, as he was awarded his 6th Dan grade. He was graded with others from around New Zealand at the National Technical Weekend 16/17th November held in Wellington with the JudoNZ Technical Grading Commission. Gaining this grade displays the time and dedication he has put into Judo over the past 57 years.

Peripheral neuropathy presents many of the characteristics of TCM wei-syndrome (萎证): it's marked by the symptoms of flaccidity of body tissue and motor/sensory impairment. Traditionally, wei-syndrome in TCM is a pattern has a wider range of implication to conditions such like sequelae of encephalitis, spinal cord trauma, muscular atrophy due to polio, multiple sclerosis (MS)and tumors in the CNS, etc.
