Making and distributing REAL GOOD FOOD needs REAL GOOD PEOPLE and we have opportunities for a Dispatch Manager to join our busy team and play the important role of ensuring our goods get to our customers on time.
About the role
Reporting to our Supply Chain Manager, this fulltime role will see you leading a tight knit high performing dispatch team. We pump out 1000’s of meals every week, so this role is part of a busy team and would ideally suit someone who is physically fit (as this is a physical role) where:
You feel at home and know the true value of working in and leading a team
You’ll set up and run our warehouse/plant/equipment operation for success
You’ll oversee the receipt of inwards goods and the storing of them
You’ll be responsible for packing product for onsite storage and distribution
You don’t mind the cold – you’ll be managing a crew working in a chiller environment (3 degrees)
Every day has a deadline, so you enjoy a challenge!
You get to use your great eye for detail
The hours of work are 6am - 2.30pm Mon to Fri with some weekend work and extended hours as required (it’s worth noting our factory operates 12 hours per day, 7 days per week).

You’ll have experience in a similar role and environment

You won’t get flustered easily; instead, you will thrive working under pressure
You will take pride in your work and be willing and able to learn
You will enjoy doing physical work
You'll have a current forklift license
You’ll understand LEAN processes and principles (or be willing to learn them)
You will have NZ residency or valid NZ work visa
