Kāpiti Boxing Club has been around for 20 years, producing high-grade Olympic-style boxing. It was originally founded for local kids to have an opportunity to try something different in the community. You can find our coaches and members training on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 pm at 20 Tongariro Street, Paraparaumu.
Our Tuesday and Thursday classes are open for every level of boxing, whether you have competed or if it is your first time boxing.

MICHAEL REYNOLDS
Michael Reynolds is no stranger to our gym; he has been boxing alongside his Coach, Richard Fleetwood, since the age of 8 years old, and the gym has become his 2nd home over the years. He has an incredible resume in his amateur career of 60 fights & also holds Four National Amateur Boxing Titles, multiple North Island Golden Gloves Titles, and the historic Jameson Belt in 2022.
He has fought New Zealand’s best amateurs throughout his career in boxing, including Alex Mukuka and Wendell Stanley, who both fought at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Michael’s dream was to become a Professional Boxer. After achieving his goals within amateur boxing, he is now pumped and ready to take on the boxing scene as a Pro.
His opponent, Dominic Reed, is well known in New Zealand’s Combat Sports Community and has a few Pro Boxing fights under his name already. This should be a very good fight to watch on the 6th of April. Both men have unique skills and styles, which we will see on the night of Bring the Battle.
