Introduction
Welcome to the captivating world of Jenny Siaosi Photography, where fleeting moments are transformed into timeless memories. With a unique approach to photography, Jenny Siaosi captures the essence of emotions that speak a thousand words.
Background and Expertise
After many years of focusing on wedding photography and creating a very successful business I asked why Jenny has changed her approach
“When I first started a photography business I specialised in weddings and absolutely loved it. But as with everything, there is a point in time when you crave for something a little different, and about 4 years ago I started the transition and now specialise in commercial work, still very much with a focus on lifestyle and people”
Style and Approach
Jenny Siaosi's signature style incorporates the perfect blend of natural lighting and cinematic composition to create emotionally charged photographs that tell a story.
Her ability to capture authentic emotions and genuine connections sets her work apart, creating memories that last a lifetime.
I asked Jenny - What is your favourite photoshoot?
“Thorough planning and preparation will always be key elements to success; a favourite photo session would be one where there is an element of the unknown, when I get to work with and make the most of what’s in front of me. Thinking on my feet and being creative on the spot. Call it a hangover from being a wedding photographer.”

Behind the Scenes
I asked Jenny if she had any tips for would-be photographers starting out.
“Decide what type of photography you will specialise in early on and focus on that.
Photograph what you love and show only what you really love, not what you think people will want.
Be confident with your pricing and choose VERY carefully if you are thinking of working for the ‘exposure’ or ‘experience’ alone.
When you work for free or at a very low cost, it sends the message that you don’t value what you do, so how will anyone else?
If you do struggle with pricing, seek out an experienced photographer who can help guide you. Most are happy to help!
Make time for personal work and projects that feed your soul. Try to network regularly with other photographers nearby.”
Where would you like to take your business in the future?
“I am currently working towards a couple of goals:
1. Creating more personal work and making that available for purchase, in short selling my art.
2. Working more with community and for-purpose organisations, joining them to tell their stories about their amazing people, what they are doing so well, and why they are doing it. “
