INTRODUCTION ACUPUNCTURE FOR PAIN & STRESS RELIEF

TCM Acupuncture for pain relief is Scientifically Researched and Evidence-Based! (1)

TCM acupuncture is different from other forms of Western acupuncture, as it integrates the understanding and experience of the channel, the circadian clock, the seasonal rhythm, and it holds the holographic views of the human body: every portion reflects the whole body and vice versa. It exams the functions of organ systems along the channel pathways and treats the whole body. It is generally safe and has low to no adverse events in the hand of a trained acupuncturist.

When your doctor can’t find anything wrong after multiple checks and told you to go home and rest, what does that mean? Your doctor’s message is to let the body heal itself over time. Your life is safe and affirmed by the modern medical system, but you may be still in great pain and stress. Now, this is the time that acupuncture may help you. Acupuncture has a focus on the balance of energy and well-being and is traditionally used for people even with chronic conditions.

A meta-analysis of 17,922 patients from randomized trials concluded, Acupuncture is effective for the treatment of chronic pain and is therefore a reasonable referral option. Significant differences between true and sham acupuncture indicate that acupuncture is more than a placebo.(2)

A follow-up study with this data looking at long-term pain relief, found that the benefits of acupuncture persisted 12 months after treatment ended. (3)

TCM acupuncture may be also used for stress relief and chronic inflammations. Other conditions that may be helped from acupuncture treatment included but not limited are: anxiety, depression, insomnia, post-traumatic syndrome disease(PTSD), withdrawal syndromes (when quitting drugs, smoking or alcohol), sinus, migraines, hay fever, rhinitis, arthritis, headaches, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
