Local Artist doing very well

Local Artist Diane Connal better known for her beautiful customised jewellery pieces has recently taken her creative talent to brush and canvas.

Her Artwork ‘Ipad interuppted’ was accepted for the Adam Portrait Awards and to her surprise it was accepted. Although she didn’t win the award, Diane felt very gratified to see her painting hanging with such a great group of artists in The Portrait Gallery in Wellington.

Her portrait was of a friend, sitting in his lounge on his laptop.

The painting was selected to tour with a show that takes 70% of the works in the Awards exhibition around the country. The tour ends this month in The South Island and Diane’s painting will then be returned.

Well done Diane.
